Hi guys! I’m Kelley- an aspiring wordsmith from the Deep South and mom to four wild, charming boys and one equally-wild, endearing little girl.
I am married to my childhood sweetheart, a firefighter, devoted family man, and our resident comic entertainer.
We are a family of faith, raising our kids in our own hometown, and this year we made a bold and (some might say) risky decision to pull our kids from academically rigorous magnet schools in order to pursue homeschooling instead.
This life we share has its inevitable ups-and-downs, but I am still an idealist and a dreamer at heart. I am lured by things that are inspiring, creative, and thought-provoking. Hopefully you will discover something along those lines while you’re here!

Thank you Sam!! My grandmother was definitely a big influence on me in several ways so, yes, she will be mentioned more than once I’m sure! I miss you too! I hope we get a chance to meet up again one of these days : )
